Ten-player NAC Women fight back as academy sides record mixed results
Felicia de Zeeuw’s stoppage-time free-kick secured a 2-2 draw against Jong PSV Women, while NAC’s Under-21 side suffered a heavy home defeat.

NAC Women recovered from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against Jong PSV Women in Breda. Jong PSV struck twice shortly before half-time, but Regina Schuylenberg reduced the deficit in the 52nd minute with a finish off the inside of the post. NAC continued to threaten, although another Schuylenberg effort was disallowed and Merle Zieleman headed against the crossbar.
Sarina Heijblom’s 78th-minute red card left NAC with ten players, but Deepak Mohanlal’s side still found an equaliser in stoppage time. Jong PSV’s goalkeeper was dismissed after a foul on Schuylenberg, and Felicia de Zeeuw converted the resulting free-kick from outside the penalty area to secure a point.
The academy’s Under-21 team endured a more difficult afternoon, losing 4-0 at home to leaders Excelsior Rotterdam. NAC fell behind to an early header and had a potential equaliser from Amadou Diallo ruled out for handball. Excelsior doubled their advantage with a long-range shot before adding two further goals after the interval.
