Stratech Logistic has joined FC Twente’s Twentse Ondernemers Sociëteit (TOS) for the new season. The company, whose office is within walking distance of De Grolsch Veste, entered the club’s business network after previously being placed on a waiting list.

The firm specialises in automating documentation for imports and exports. Business manager Bram Groener said its roots stretch back to 1989, when three University of Twente students had the opportunity to take over a DOS-based digital freight document. Stratech later acquired the software, converted it into a Windows application and developed it into a broader customs package.

Account manager Rogier Roerade said the company now has almost 1,800 customers across the Netherlands. Its TOS membership includes two business seats and access to network events. Stratech hopes its involvement will improve local visibility, deepen its connection with the region and create contacts with recruiters and other logistics businesses.

Roerade also stressed that Stratech had not become FC Twente’s main sponsor, despite that mistaken suggestion circulating after the agreement appeared on LinkedIn. He described the club as an important regional link, while the company sees its proximity to De Grolsch Veste and the shared enthusiasm for football among staff as a natural basis for the partnership.
