PSV have reached an agreement with Rangers over the transfer of Couhaib Driouech, according to De Telegraaf. Scottish sources cited by the newspaper put the fee for the winger at €8 million, although the move still depends on the remaining formalities.

Driouech is expected in Glasgow on Tuesday to undergo a medical and complete the transfer. If he passes the examination, he is set to sign a four-year contract with Rangers. Celta de Vigo had also shown interest, but the Scottish club reportedly won the race for his signature.

PSV signed Driouech from Excelsior for €3.5 million two years ago. He did not establish himself as an undisputed starter in Eindhoven, recording 12 goals across 61 appearances. Three of those goals came in the Champions League last season.

The Eindhoven club have several alternatives on the left wing following Ruben van Bommel’s recovery from a cruciate ligament injury. Ivan Perisic can also play there, while youngster Amir Bouhamdi received substantial playing time during pre-season. Driouech would become PSV’s fourth departure of the summer after Ismael Saibari, Joël Drommel and Sami Bouhoudane.
