PSV are attempting to sign highly rated Bodø/Glimt forward Mikkel Bro Hansen, according to Voetbalzone, citing Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink. The Eindhoven club have reportedly made an offer to the Norwegian side and presented the 17-year-old with their own proposal.

Bro Hansen has recorded eight goals and three assists across his first 15 appearances for Bodø/Glimt’s senior team. His current contract has only one year left to run, but PSV may still have to pay several million euros to secure his signature.

The teenager is also attracting interest elsewhere in Europe. Clubs from England are said to be among those prepared to spend heavily, leaving PSV with competition as they seek to add him to their forward line. No agreement with either Bodø/Glimt or the player has yet been reported.

A successful deal could be followed by a departure from PSV’s attacking group before the end of the summer window. Esmir Bajraktarevic is identified as one player who could potentially leave, although the report does not indicate that his exit is settled. Bro Hansen’s limited remaining contract term gives Bodø/Glimt an incentive to consider a sale, as he would be able to speak to other clubs during the winter and leave without a transfer fee the following summer.
