PSV are expected to retain most of the team that beat Willem II 7-0 when they host Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday. Voetbalzone predicts Peter Bosz will make one change for the 21:00 kick-off at the Philips Stadion, with Filip Kostic replacing Yarek Gasiorowski at left-back.

Matej Kovar is tipped to start in goal behind Sergiño Dest, Lutsharel Geertruida, Armando Obispo and Kostic. Mauro Júnior, Kodai Sano and Guus Til form the projected midfield, while Ivan Perisic and Ruben van Bommel are expected to flank Sven Mijnans. Ricardo Pepi scored as a substitute against Willem II but is forecast to begin on the bench again.

Club Brugge arrive as Belgian league leaders and with an attack capable of testing PSV. Ivan Leko’s side have won nine of their opening 10 domestic matches, while their aggressive approach also produced a 4-3 Champions League victory away to Inter and a 3-0 win over Lens. That ambition carries risk: Inter managed 30 attempts, including 12 on target, during the defeat in Milan.

Former Ajax winger Carlos Forbs is one of Brugge’s key threats. The 22-year-old had recorded four goals and eight assists in 12 competitive appearances by early November, including two assists against Inter. Nicolò Tresoldi provides the finishing touch through the middle, having scored 12 times in 13 matches, while Jan Virgili offers another direct option from wide areas.
