PSV are close to signing Bodø/Glimt striker Mikkel Bro Hansen after months of negotiations, according to Voetbalzone. The Eindhoven club have reportedly reached an agreement for the 17-year-old, with only the final formalities remaining before he can complete a proposed three-year deal.

Citing Eindhovens Dagblad, the report places the transfer fee at around €3 million. Bodø/Glimt initially wanted more for the Denmark youth international, but PSV are said to have negotiated the price down. Bro Hansen is expected in Eindhoven shortly for a medical examination.

The forward’s contract in Norway was due to expire, and Bodø/Glimt had offered him an extension. However, after discussions with his family and representative, he decided not to accept it. PSV subsequently convinced him to choose the Eredivisie club despite reported interest from Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Juventus.

Ajax had also been linked with Bro Hansen and previously assessed him at close quarters. He first had a trial in Amsterdam as a 14-year-old in October 2023, scoring six goals in one youth friendly, before returning for a two-week spell with Ajax’s under-17 side a year later. Bro Hansen moved from AGF to Bodø/Glimt at the beginning of 2025.
