PSV have completed the signing of Danish striker prospect Mikkel Bro Hansen from Bodø/Glimt. According to VI, negotiations between the clubs were difficult and an agreement took time, with the final details settled during the closing days of the Dutch transfer window.

Bro Hansen leaves Norway after making 13 first-team appearances for Bodø/Glimt, scoring twice and providing one assist. The Denmark youth international previously developed in the academies of FC Midtjylland and Aarhus GF before moving to Bodø/Glimt in 2025.

PSV technical director Earnest Stewart said the Eindhoven club had monitored the forward for a long period and stepped up contact in recent months. Stewart believes Bro Hansen has considerable potential, highlighting his finishing ability and intelligent movement without the ball as qualities that can be developed further at PSV.

The striker said PSV’s status and the development plan presented to him made the move an easy decision. He pointed to Xavi Simons, Noni Madueke and Ismaël Saibari as examples of players who have progressed at the club. Bro Hansen will join PSV’s first-team group on a full-time basis, although he is expected to play matches for Jong PSV initially as he adapts to his new surroundings.
