Peter Bosz closes in on elite Dutch coaching company at PSV
A victory over Excelsior would give the PSV coach 103 wins from his first 150 official matches in charge.

Peter Bosz will reach 150 official matches as PSV coach when the Eindhoven side face Excelsior. Victory would be his 103rd since taking charge, placing him close to some of the strongest 150-game records achieved by coaches at Dutch clubs.
Only four managers have recorded more victories across their first 150 competitive fixtures with one Dutch side. Rinus Michels and Erik ten Hag both won 108 of those matches at Ajax, while Louis van Gaal registered 107 with Ajax. Ernst Happel also reached 107 victories during his time at Feyenoord.
Bosz has so far overseen 102 wins, 22 draws and 25 defeats at PSV, a record worth an average of 2.20 points per match. He has also led the club to three successive league championships.
The current season has not begun perfectly for Bosz's team. PSV lost to AZ in the Johan Cruijff Shield before drawing with Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie. Beating Excelsior would therefore provide both an early lift and a notable statistical milestone for the coach, although he would remain behind the four leading benchmarks set at Ajax and Feyenoord.
