NAC Breda sign Gabriël Misehouy on season-long loan from Girona
The versatile 21-year-old forward returns to the Netherlands after spells in Spain and Greece, with NAC targeting promotion to the Eredivisie.
NAC Breda have signed Gabriël Misehouy on a season-long loan from Girona FC. The 21-year-old attacker will join head coach Carl Hoefkens’ squad on Tuesday after completing an immediate move from the Spanish club.
Misehouy can operate in several positions across the forward line. The Amsterdam-born player moved from Ajax to Girona in the summer of 2024 and has since made 11 La Liga appearances. He also holds a Ghanaian passport alongside his Dutch nationality.
The Netherlands youth international spent last season on loan at Aris Thessaloniki. He recorded two goals and two assists in 12 appearances for the Greek club. Misehouy previously developed in Ajax’s academy from the age of six, later registering 11 goals and four assists for Jong Ajax while aged 16 and 17.
NAC technical director Peter Maas said the club wanted another attacking option and saw an opportunity because Misehouy was seeking regular playing time. Maas believes the forward can add creativity, aggression and a goal threat to the team’s front line. Misehouy said he is eager to demonstrate his qualities in Breda and help NAC compete for promotion to the Eredivisie.
