NAC Breda opens stadium placement programme with Kinderkracht
Breda College students will support the club’s facilities team each Tuesday while developing workplace and social skills.

NAC Breda have launched a placement programme at the Rat Verlegh Stadion in partnership with Kinderkracht Hulpverlening. The initiative brings young people and young adults with disabilities into the club’s working environment, with an emphasis on their abilities, talents and individual pace.
The first group placement took place on 25 August and involved students from Breda College. Under the supervision of Kinderkracht, the participants carried out work in and around the stadium. They are now due to assist NAC’s facilities team every Tuesday from this season.
NAC say the programme is intended to provide a safe, predictable and inspiring setting for personal development. Participants will work on confidence, independence and social skills, while also gaining experience in structure, teamwork and the practical expectations of employment.
The partnership expands Kinderkracht’s existing work in football. The organisation already cooperates with amateur clubs VV Kloetinge and SV MZC ’11, and has now added NAC to its placement network. The Breda club welcomed the participants and said it hopes their time at the stadium will offer enjoyable and valuable learning experiences.
