NAC Breda have filled the vacant assistant-coach position by promoting from within the club. Dencho Narcisio will become a part-time member of head coach Rick Kruys’s technical staff in Zundert, while transition coach Anouar Diba will take on a broader set of responsibilities. NAC announced the staffing changes on 1 October 2026.

Narcisio is currently the head coach of NAC’s Under-13 side and also works as the academy’s methodology coordinator. The former Feyenoord youth coach will now combine those duties with a partial role around the first team. NAC have not provided further detail about how Narcisio’s time will be divided or specified the additional tasks assigned to Diba.

Technical director Peter Maas said the appointments return the overall coaching staff to full strength, with Narcisio and Diba each bringing distinct qualities. He also highlighted the value of strengthening the connection between the senior side and the NAC Academy through coaching personnel, rather than limiting that pathway to players.

The decision keeps the solution entirely in-house and gives two existing staff members greater involvement in the first-team structure. According to Maas, that approach also supports NAC’s aim of developing and educating its own coaches internally. Narcisio will work under Kruys while retaining his positions within the academy setup.
