NAC Breda appoint Nico Romeijn to supervisory board
Romeijn will oversee technical affairs and advise the club’s management, completing NAC’s supervisory board.
NAC Breda have appointed Nico Romeijn to their supervisory board, where he will take responsibility for the technical affairs portfolio. The appointment was made by the club’s STAK and completes the board’s line-up.
Romeijn will supervise NAC’s work in the technical domain while also advising the management team. The club said his arrival, alongside the appointment of head coach Rick Kruys, means all positions within its football-technical structure are now covered.
His experience includes developing policies, educational courses and programmes in the Netherlands and abroad. Romeijn has worked for organisations including the KNVB, UEFA, the U.S. Soccer Federation and SEG International, building expertise across academy operations, scouting and first-team processes.
Over the past two seasons, Romeijn also supported Robin van Persie as a coach and member of the football staff at SC Heerenveen and Feyenoord. He joins a NAC supervisory board chaired by Henk van Koeveringe, with Edwin Heeren, Janouk Kloosterboer, Justin Goetzee and Marco de Leeuw holding the other portfolios. The board oversees the club’s strategic and commercial direction, financial stability and continuity, while acting as an advisory partner to the management.
