NAC Breda have confirmed that academy goalkeeper Samuel Guillermo Feijoo Jimeno has moved to Deportivo de A Coruña. The 16-year-old left NAC during the summer to join the Spanish club’s youth programme in the region where he grew up.

Feijoo Jimeno arrived at NAC from PSV in the summer of 2024 and spent one season in the Breda academy. During his time with the club, he was also selected by Spain Under-16s and took part in a training camp with the national youth side.

NAC technical manager Fouad El Fdil said Deportivo’s interest developed after the goalkeeper’s Spain call-up. The move gives Feijoo Jimeno access to a full-time development programme, while he will live at Deportivo’s training complex. El Fdil added that NAC were disappointed to lose the player but understood the attraction of returning to an area with which he and his family have strong ties.

NAC will receive training compensation covering Feijoo Jimeno’s season in their academy, in accordance with FIFA regulations. The transfer continues the young goalkeeper’s development in his native region after his spells in the youth systems of PSV and NAC.
