N'Djoli reaches four goals as Heracles strike late again

Heracles Almelo secured a second successive late victory as they overcame FC Den Bosch, with N'Djoli again playing a leading role. The striker scored twice and now has four goals from the opening two matches of the Keuken Kampioen Divisie campaign.

Speaking to ESPN after the game, N'Djoli described the occasion as an incredible evening and insisted expectations do not weigh heavily on him. He said his relaxed personality helps him handle pressure, while his priority is simply contributing to victories.

Tristan van Gilst, identified as the match-winner by VI, also praised N'Djoli’s quality and laid-back character. Van Gilst believes a positive mood has returned in Almelo, although he stressed that Heracles cannot get carried away with 36 league fixtures still to play.

Coach Heilmann was similarly encouraged after the home supporters witnessed another dramatic finish. He said the contest reflected Heracles’ commitment to highly attacking football, even if that approach can sometimes work against them. The manager also suggested N'Djoli could eventually be paired with Kulenovic, who is available again. Heilmann highlighted the supportive relationship between the forwards, noting that they encourage each other when one replaces the other rather than treating the situation solely as an individual competition.
