KNVB adjusts PSV, Twente and NEC Eredivisie kick-off times
Three league fixtures have been rescheduled to provide Dutch clubs involved in European competition with additional recovery time.

The KNVB has adjusted the kick-off times of three Eredivisie matches involving PSV and NEC, with the changes designed to improve recovery periods around European fixtures. The association has followed a similar approach in previous seasons when accommodating the Netherlands’ continental representatives.
PSV’s home game against Sparta Rotterdam on 13 September will now begin at 20:00 rather than 14:30. That gives PSV additional time following their Champions League meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk, which is scheduled for Thursday 10 September at 18:45.
A second PSV fixture has also moved. The away match against FC Twente on 20 September has been brought forward from 16:45 to 14:30. On the same day, NEC’s home game against Go Ahead Eagles will switch in the other direction, moving from 14:30 to 16:45, according to the fixture table published by VI. NEC are due to face Juventus in the Europa League at 21:00 on Thursday 17 September, and the later Sunday kick-off provides a longer turnaround.
The KNVB also indicated that the Eredivisie schedule through matchweek 21 will be announced during the course of next week. The three revised fixtures form part of its effort to manage domestic scheduling around the demands placed on clubs competing in Europe.
