Jean-Paul N’Djoli has been named the Keuken Kampioen Divisie Player of the Week following the third round of fixtures. The French striker scored twice as Heracles Almelo recorded a 6-1 victory over Jong FC Utrecht on Monday evening.

N’Djoli finished ahead of Almere City goalkeeper Wessel Speel and FC Den Bosch forward Sebastian Karlsson Grach in the voting. Candidates for the weekly prize are selected using performance data including goals, assists, clean sheets and dribbles, before supporters choose the winner through the competition’s official channels.

It is already N’Djoli’s second Player of the Week award of the young season. He also received the accolade after scoring twice against VVV-Venlo in Heracles’ opening match. The forward then struck another two goals against FC Den Bosch in the following round, earning a nomination but losing out to Vitesse player Nouafal Bannis.

Heracles also collected a second individual honour from the latest round. Sem Scheperman’s powerful effort, which put the Almelo side 2-0 ahead against Jong FC Utrecht, was selected as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie Goal of the Week.
