Inter have made a notable error in their published analysis of Feyenoord ahead of the clubs’ Champions League meeting at De Kuip. The Italian side’s website presents Ayase Ueda as one of the Eredivisie leaders’ dangerous attacking options, despite the Japan international having already left Rotterdam.

Ueda joined Lille on the final day of the summer transfer window and signed a contract running until mid-2030. He has since scored twice in four league appearances for the French club and once in two Champions League outings. According to FCUpdate, the striker was unavailable for Lille’s game against Bodø/Glimt because of injury.

Feyenoord’s centre-forward duties now include Nacho Ferri, who has recorded six goals and one assist across ten Eredivisie matches this season. The Spaniard had not scored in the opening three Champions League fixtures. Inter’s assessment did correctly highlight winger Anis Hadj Moussa, whose proposed September move to Al-Ittihad fell through at the last moment.

Beyond the Ueda mistake, Inter described Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side as an attack-minded team that generally uses a 4-3-3 formation, with 4-2-3-1 another option. Its analysis noted Feyenoord’s emphasis on building through midfield and creating attacks from wide areas. Inter also identified a potential vulnerability: committing players forward can leave space behind the full-backs and between midfield and defence, particularly when the initial press is beaten.
