Heracles museum to open for free on 7 August
Supporters can explore more than a century of Heracles Almelo history during a two-hour opening at the Asito stadium.
Heracles Almelo will open their club museum to visitors on Friday, 7 August. The museum, located inside the Asito stadium, will welcome the public from 14:00 until 16:00, with admission available free of charge.
The collection covers the club’s 123-year history through memorabilia, shirts and team photographs. Among its most notable pieces are the championship medals won in 1927 and 1941, together with the championship shields from 2005 and 2023.
Visitors can also see the museum’s “Icons Wall”, which brings together portraits of historic Heracles figures and photographs of people associated with the club in more recent years. Alongside its permanent collection, the museum stages four rotating exhibitions over the course of each season, giving returning visitors additional material to explore.
The August opening is part of the museum’s regular schedule. Heracles says the venue opens on the first Friday of every month, as well as before each home league fixture. The club is inviting all visitors to use the opportunity to learn more about its heritage, from its earliest successes through to more recent title-winning campaigns.
