Heracles Almelo will open their club museum ahead of the home match against De Graafschap on September 4. Located inside the Asito Stadion, the museum will welcome visitors from 90 minutes before the game until 15 minutes before kick-off.

The collection covers the club’s 123-year history through memorabilia, shirts, team photographs and other notable objects. Among its centrepieces are the championship medals from 1927 and 1941, along with the championship trophies won in 2005 and 2023.

Visitors can also see the museum’s “Icon Wall”, which combines portraits of prominent figures from earlier eras with photographs of Heracles representatives from the club’s more recent past. In addition to its permanent collection, the museum stages four rotating exhibitions during each season.

Admission is free for all visitors. Heracles says the museum opens before every home league fixture, giving fans attending matches at the Asito Stadion a regular opportunity to explore the club’s history. For the De Graafschap game, anyone wishing to visit will need to do so within the designated pre-match window, as the doors will close a quarter of an hour before the action begins.
