Godts has expressed his delight at joining Paris Saint-Germain, saying the club’s approach immediately convinced him. In an interview with PSG TV relayed by Voetbal International, he thanked the president, Luis Campos and the coach for making clear how strongly they wanted to work with him.

The attacker said his decision was straightforward once PSG called to communicate their interest. He described the Paris side as the world’s best club and is eager to demonstrate his qualities at the highest level. Godts believes he can contribute with goals and assists, while also using his ability to beat opponents with the ball.

Dribbling is the skill Godts considers his main weapon, although he stressed that helping the team remains the priority. He wants to combine his talent with the right mentality, score goals and provide entertainment for the supporters. “I love to dribble,” he told PSG TV, as quoted by Voetbal International.

Godts also views the move as an opportunity to develop alongside players who have already won major honours. His aims are to improve physically and technically each day, learn from his new team-mates and show what he can do. He is particularly looking forward to playing at the Parc des Princes and meeting the PSG fans.
