Feyenoord look to the stars ahead of Champions League return
A campaign video featuring actor Nasrdin Dchar sets the tone before Feyenoord begin their latest European programme away to Barcelona.

Feyenoord have turned their attention to the stars as they prepare to return to the Champions League after a one-year absence. A promotional video highlighted by Voetbal International features actor Nasrdin Dchar looking over Rotterdam through a telescope, connecting the night sky with the club’s return to Europe’s leading competition.
Dchar, known for his roles in Mocro Maffia and Het Gouden Uur, delivers the campaign’s central message. “Everyone becomes a star,” he says in the video, before adding that he believes everyone can share that status. The imagery offers a Rotterdam-focused introduction to Feyenoord’s new European campaign.
Their first assignment is a demanding visit to Barcelona on Wednesday. The match will be staged at Camp Nou and is scheduled to kick off at 18:45. Feyenoord’s remaining league-phase opponents are Como at home, Real Betis away, Internazionale at home, FC Porto at home, Viking away, Galatasaray away and RB Leipzig at home.
Feyenoord’s previous Champions League match came on 11 March 2025, when they lost the second leg of their last-16 tie against Internazionale. They competed in the Europa League league phase last season but did not reach the knockout rounds. The Barcelona fixture therefore marks their return to Champions League action as well as the start of another varied continental schedule.
