FC Twente/Heracles academy set for busy Saturday programme
Eight academy sides will be in action on 7 November, with the Under-15 trip to Vitesse selected as the club’s featured fixture of the week.
The FC Twente/Heracles academy has confirmed an eight-match programme for Saturday, 7 November, spanning age groups from Under-12 to Under-21. Seven teams will continue their league campaigns, while the Under-17s step outside competitive action for a friendly against Schalke 04 in Germany.
The featured game of the week is the Under-15 side’s visit to Vitesse at Papendal. Kick-off in Arnhem is scheduled for 14:30, with only one point separating the teams: Vitesse have 14 points and Twente/Heracles 13. Updates from the match will be available through the academy’s social media channels.
At the academy training centre in Hengelo, the Under-21s host Willem II at 12:30. Two younger sides also play at home from 10:00, with the Under-13s facing Heerenveen and the Under-12s meeting Cambuur. The Under-19s travel to VVV-Venlo for a 15:00 start.
Elsewhere, the Under-16s visit De Graafschap in Doetinchem at 15:00, while the Under-14s face FC Utrecht at Zoudenbalch from 10:00. The Under-17 friendly against Schalke will begin at 13:30 at the Dinkelstadion in Heek. All eight fixtures are due to take place on the same Saturday, giving the joint academy a full day of domestic league and friendly action.
