Dion Versluis leaves NAC Breda for Kozakken Boys
The striker has agreed a return to Kozakken Boys after making seven first-team appearances during his time in Breda.
NAC Breda have confirmed that Dion Versluis has left the club by mutual agreement and signed a contract with Kozakken Boys. The forward returns to a team he represented for part of last season, when he played there on loan from NAC.
Versluis originally joined NAC on a free transfer from Jong FC Utrecht and featured mainly for the Breda club’s reserve side. He signed his first professional contract in August 2025, but was unable to establish himself as a regular member of the senior squad.
The striker ultimately made seven appearances for NAC’s first team. His move to Kozakken Boys gives him another opportunity to gain regular playing time in the Tweede Divisie, where he already has experience from his previous loan spell.
Technical director Peter Maas said NAC considered the departure the best outcome for both the player and the club. He highlighted the prospect of Versluis playing frequently in what he described, via NAC’s official website, as a physically demanding and competitive division. NAC also wished the forward well for the next stage of his career.
