AZ dominate Voetbalzone’s Eredivisie Team of the Week
Four Alkmaar players earned places in the selection after the fourth round, while PSV’s Sergiño Dest was included for the second consecutive week.

AZ supplied four players to Voetbalzone’s Eredivisie Team of the Week after retaining top spot at the end of the fourth round. Lewis Schouten, Mateo Chávez, Dave Kwakman and Ro-Zangelo Daal were all selected, giving the XI a strong Alkmaar flavour.
Daal received particular praise from the outlet, which suggested AZ have an especially valuable prospect on their hands. Lequincio Zeefuik, who is owned by AZ but currently leads the line for Fortuna Sittard, was chosen as the side’s centre-forward.
PSV contributed two players following their victory away to FC Utrecht. Sergiño Dest scored and provided an assist to secure his second successive appearance in Voetbalzone’s weekly selection, while Guus Til joined him in midfield. Ajax’s Steven Berghuis completed the attacking line alongside Zeefuik and Daal.
ADO Den Haag goalkeeper Kilian Nikièma was picked after helping his team claim a point against Feyenoord at De Kuip. FC Twente defender Ruud Nijstad and Willem II midfielder Calvin Twigt completed the XI. The selection came after a round in which Ajax and PSV both won, Feyenoord were held at home by ADO, and AZ remained the early Eredivisie leaders.
