Ajax’s Eredivisie showdown with PSV on Saturday 5 September will be broadcast live on ESPN 1. The match is scheduled to kick off at 20:00, with ESPN’s build-up beginning 90 minutes earlier through its De Eretribune programme.

Post-match analysis on ESPN 1 is due to continue until approximately 23:15. Viewers seeking additional interviews and press-conference coverage after the final whistle can switch to ESPN 3. ESPN 1 is included in the basic television package offered by some providers, while other customers will need an ESPN Premium subscription. The channel numbers listed by VI are 14 on KPN, 18 on Ziggo, 150 on Odido, 421 on DELTA, 318 on Caiway and 29 on Canal Digitaal.

Ajax enter the fixture with an unbeaten record across their past five meetings with PSV. Three of those games ended in draws, while the Amsterdam side won the other two. PSV, however, have claimed the Dutch league title in each of the past three seasons.

Ajax are hoping that head coach Míchel Sánchez and significant improvements to the squad can help deliver the club’s first championship since the 2021/22 campaign. The meeting therefore brings together Ajax’s recent head-to-head resilience and PSV’s sustained domestic success, with ESPN providing coverage throughout the evening.
