Ajax sign Kehrer and Spina as Dutch clubs accelerate deadline-day business
PSV, FC Utrecht and NAC Breda have also completed signings, while Ajax may still move for another midfielder and Feyenoord could lose Jordan Lotomba.

Ajax have confirmed two defensive additions on the Dutch transfer deadline, bringing in Thilo Kehrer from AS Monaco and Gerónimo Spina from Atlético Madrid. Kehrer, 29, joins on loan until the end of the season without an option to buy. Spina, 21, has signed until June 2028, with a further one-year option, and will initially join Jong Ajax.
The Amsterdam club may not be completely finished. FCUpdate, citing De Telegraaf, reports that technical director Jordi Cruijff remains alert to a late opportunity for an additional midfielder if another deal collapses or a price drops. That possibility remains unconfirmed.
PSV have signed 21-year-old Ayoni Santos from Sparta Rotterdam on a five-year contract, with the deal valued at around €5 million. FC Utrecht have added Omonia Nicosia centre-back Nikolas Panagiotou on a three-year agreement containing an option for another season. NAC Breda, currently in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, have recruited versatile Belgian player Mohamed Bouchouari from Wydad AC on a four-year deal.
Further movement could follow before the window closes. Feyenoord right-back Jordan Lotomba is reportedly travelling to Scotland to complete a move to Celtic. PSV prospect Essiën Bassey is also said to be heading to Norway for a medical with Viking FK in a transfer worth about €1.5 million. NEC general director Wilco van Schaik, meanwhile, said he expects the Nijmegen club’s business to be finished, although he stopped short of ruling out another development.
