Ajax duo among four Eredivisie prospects named on global talent list
PSV’s Mikkel Bro Hansen and Feyenoord’s Jerayno Schaken join Ajax pair Abdellah Ouazane and Mohamed Abdalla in a selection of 60 players born in 2009.

Four players from the Dutch top flight have been included in a list of 60 leading young talents highlighted by The Guardian, according to Voetbal International. The selection was restricted to footballers born in 2009.
Ajax provide two of the Eredivisie representatives: midfielders Abdellah Ouazane and Mohamed Abdalla. Ouazane is praised for his composure under pressure, two-footed ability and midfield versatility, with his performances following a breakthrough into Ajax’s first team attracting particular attention in Amsterdam.
The assessment of Abdalla acknowledges that he is currently experiencing a more difficult spell, but also points to his rapid earlier progress. The midfielder scored on his Ajax debut, a feat which placed him alongside prominent predecessors including Johan Cruijff and Marco van Basten.
PSV prospect Mikkel Bro Hansen and Feyenoord attacker Jerayno Schaken complete the quartet. Schaken is portrayed as a confident young forward who has remained unfazed by expectations. France is the most represented country on the 60-player list with four selections, while Spain, Brazil, Germany and Turkey each have three. No player from a Premier League club appears because The Guardian compiled a separate 40-player selection for talents based in the English competition.
